Professional Land Resources (PLR) is a privately held oil and gas company based in North Central West Virginia. With the goal of improving energy independence in the United States, PLR has been a front-runner in the identification of prospects throughout both the Appalachian and Illinois Basin’s.

Since 2005, PLR has been engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas reserves not only in a brokerage capacity, but also as an active participant, sharing in the progression of operations.

As an independent operator with over 100 contractors in the field, PLR seeks to maximize the potential production for every prospect it acquires while making every attempt to minimize the environmental footprint of our operations.
